New CM Arvind Kejriwal Thanks Delhiites to Make AAP Witness Historic Win in Capital

arvind1New Delhi, Monday, February 16 – The common man finally got a chance to be ruled by a party which claims to do everything for the well-being of the population and that’s none other than Aam Aadmi Party. Its leader Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday, February 14, took oath as the youngest Chief Minister of the national capital, reassuring everyone to have a better life and facilities in the city in the near future.

As like earlier, his speech received huge round of applause from the people who gathered at Ramlila Maidan to have a glimpse of Kejriwal. While addressing the crowd, the newly appointed CM expressed his gratitude to the Delhi voters for exercising franchise in their favor, enabling AAP to taste historic victory and thrash Bharatiya Janata Party, Indian National Congress and others from a bigger margin.

Here is to mention that in the Delhi Assembly polls 2013, AAP got 28 seats, which was humongous in certain aspects. Despite being a new party, it gave tough competition to the parties which have been in politics from several decades. It is true that AAP members and voters weren’t too sure that Kejriwal’s magic will bring such an incredible success in the lately held elections. AAP’s triumph is a clear sign that residents eye growth and security in the metropolis and they have forgiven the party for leaving their tenure of 5 years just after 49 days of rule. Taking everyone by surprise, AAP won the polls with 67 seats out of 70 seats.

Bharatiya Janata Party got just 3 seats. The most surprising was Indian National Congress’ performance since they were out for a duck. Kejriwal once again admitted that arrogance made Congress go on the back foot. If he and his team repeat the same mistake what the rivals did then result will be same for them after 5 years. He assured of bringing Jan Lokpal bill as early as possible but did not promise a certain date. Kejriwal requested media persons not to shoot questions at him every time he comes out of his car. He thanked AAP supporters for their immense support and even acknowledged hard work of volunteers, who quit their jobs to work day and night for party’s success.

Kejriwal spellbound the crowd of nearly 50,000 people for speaking his heart out. He promised of making Delhi corruption free and asked the masses to record videos or voice in mobile phone is someone asks for or offers bribe. Immense faith in Aam Aadmi Party from general pubic was not expected, particularly at a time where many were confident about BJP’s win by reason of Modi wave. In view of the fact that Delhi got its new Chief Minister, hopes are soaring once again. The mob is curious to see how the party works for the welfare of the populace by trimming down electricity bills and providing uninterrupted water supply in various Delhi regions.

The real time to prove confidence of the voters in AAP right has just arrived for team Kejriwal. By the attendance of hundreds and thousands of people at the venue of oath-taking ceremony, it is apparent that the winner of Delhi polls doesn’t have to leave any stone unturned to fulfill big promises. There remains no chance of making mistakes or taking a step back. Task is not easy but voters’ faith in Kejriwal’s ability to turn things simple is immense and probably the key source of inspiration.
